Mentor: Jasna Palić Picukarić
About the program: Perhaps one day your child will want to become a journalist, politician, professor, doctor, salesperson, lawyer, or maybe even an actor. To be able to express one self, channel one’s thoughts and feelings, isn’t a unique skill that belongs only to actors. The ability to express one self is one of the most important lessons of life that applies to everyone, however different our paths may be.
Aim: To learn how to listen, observe, and detect an emotion and express it.
Method: At this workshop, kids are taught how to develop their imagination, speak, recite, and articulate. Participants are taught how to observe by listening and watching and how to take on many different roles, as well as who they really are. Attendees learn how to use their body and voice so that the audience can see and hear who they are and all that they can become. The method also includes trips to theatrical plays where participants are introduced to actors and theater staff. But first and foremost, the workshop consists of lots of fun – laughter, singing, dancing, discovering new possibilities, and enjoying life.
The workshop is intended for: children from 7 to 10 years of age.
Time: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4.30 PM to 5.10 PM
Group size: maximum 14 participants.
